What does that mean? I beat all of the game on legendary and got the Knight in White Assassination achievement, it just wont give me armor/avatar award.

First I played the spec ops mission to get "White Knight in Assassination" achievement for the avatar award. I unlocked the achievement and it didn't give me the award. Next I beat halo 4 on legendary and i got the achievements for doing it and it didnt give me the Spartan VI armor. PLEASE HELP ME!!!!!!!
