  1. The grenade launcher was a very tactical weapon, I liked it a lot. It's especially useful for things like Capture the Flag and Invasion. I liked it in Invasion the best, because whenever someone was flying a banshee around there was always that grenade launcher option. I think it could make it's way back in the game
  2. I getcha. There are a lot of games that I got denied my kills too, probably just lag. Halo 4 doesn't have the best server. I remember back when I played went into a game of Swat, watched 5 bullets hit my enemy's head in theater in slow motion(blood spurting out, head rocking, everything) and they didn't die. So I definitely hear where you're coming from. Well, at least you could finish games. I just constantly backed out of games because I was sick of that crap lol. I seriously think I finished like 1 out of 10 games I joined, unless I had a big group of people to play with. I think I have a better understanding of what you mean now, and well, that's basically THE reason I stopped playing.
  3. That post took me about 5 minutes, while eating, if it's that important to you. We don't torture ourselves with a bad game, we had hopes of it being a great game and were let down. Is that just not sticking or something? We want the game to be good because we were avid Halo fans, but in turn it was a major let down. We don't want the same mistake to happen with Halo 5, and so on. We will list our problems with the game, and you can list what you like about the game, is that fair? I think so. I don't see why this forum must be totally about people loving the game, dancing and frolicking around in the 343 unicorn meadows. If you don't like the way people don't like something about the game, that doesn't need to be on this forum. Would this topic eventually help out the Halo community? No. Will a well organized complaint about a certain feature(s) in the game potentially help out? It can. So quit your complaining about complainers, it's not getting anything accomplished, whereas if you were talking about Halo 4 instead, you can potentially get something accomplished. As for your MW2 rants, just stop. Anybody who is an avid COD fan knows that MW2 was one of the best COD games yet. Who gives af people want their nooby tactics, not everybody does it and it doesn't make it a horrible game. Black Ops 1 was a fail. Some people were okay with it, but everybody and anybody preferred Modern Warfare. Every game has had it's nooby gun/tactics, like the Striker in MW3, Shock Charges in Black Ops 2, and heck even the Boltshot in Halo 4. Do those ruin the game? Heck no. It might cause a little rage, but it doesn't ruin the game. Now, if 343 could be like Treyarch and IMPROVE on their second game, then Halo will be right back in the fast lane competing with the best Xbox games out there. Until then, I'll stick to Reach and Black Ops 2.
  4. First off, this is a Community Forum. You don't like being "tortured" by complaints? DON'T COME TO A COMMUNITY FORUM. I thought that was an easy fix. Community forums are for people to voice their opinion, and there are plenty of good topics as well as bad topics. I don't like Halo 4, think I judged the game before it came out? If I did that, I wouldn't have bought it. I wouldn't have looked forward to it for months on end, preorder it from halfway across the globe, and waste money on dlc. I got Halo 4 the day it came out, and was SO excited. I actually liked it for a while, then when they ruined swat and infection, and then I realized the gameplay was pretty horrible aside from a few select gametypes, so I stopped playing. Think I like having to drop what was such an amazing game? Heck no! Halo was THE game I got an Xbox for, and Halo 4 was just a dissapointment. People voice their opinion because they don't want the next game to be as bad as this one, because unlike me, they still have hope. I really hate having to drop my favorite Xbox game because the game changed so much. MW2 being the worst by far? Just stop talking. OP was awful, and now you really don't know what you're talking about. You probably thought Black Ops 1 was a great game too, eh? Again, ridiculous. He was saying he gave it PLENTY OF TIME before judging it. I thought 343 was bringing great changes to the table, when all in all they were pretty bad. When 4 came out, I jokingly cherished the case with friends, and thought it was so cool when I started playing. The campaign was great! They killed it on that one! But multiplayer? Not so much. A lot of really cool ideas, but a lot more really bad ideas. If anybody hated the game and 343 before it came out, they probably would NOT have bought it in the first place, so stop assuming the worst in people because that's NOT how it is. And this. You think I don't like the game because I suck? I had something like a 1.5 ish k/d on there, and have plenty of killing sprees, multikills, all that crap and hardly use vehicles. No, that's not amazing, but do I suck at the game? Heck no. I'm almost always in the top 3. Does that have anything to do with my opinion on the game? No way. I used to suck at Black Ops Zombies, doesn't mean I hated it. I always had the least amount of kills and points, and yet I thought it was frikkin amazing. So all in all, you people might think you know why people hate the game, but each person's opinion is different. You can't tell people what to do or judge them for their decisions on the game because you honestly don't know them. So back off, and let the complainers complain, and voice your own opinions as well. That's the only way this game is going to go in a direction where everybody is happy.
  5. Behind enemies is my only issue. Heck no on that. I would break the disc in half if people just teleport behind me and assassinate me. That's what they do when it's laggy, not when it's a great connection strength game.
  6. I wouldn't say only btb. Operator was actually the first specialization I used, and have done this since I got it, and it's actually REALLY helpful in capture the flag as well. When you get your flag carrier and gunner in your warthog, you almost always get your point, the rest just depends upon if your flag carrier can get the flag and get back to the warthog.
  7. Sounds like a lot of bad luck. Just don't let the game get to you, and you'll see you'll stop worrying about these problems. There's probably a logical explanation behind each one of those situations. Like the DMR shots not being headshots, or you not shooting in front of the enemy with the needler, or just swinging a half a second early in grifball. Honestly, when I die and I'm in a raging mood, I'll try to find excuses for what happened, but in the end, it's just bad luck and they get the best of me. I'm not trying to say you're seeing things or making up excuses or anything, because this happens to everybody, just trying to say it's a mental thing a lot of the times, and most of the time it's a pretty legit situation.
  8. If you're using camo with snipers its just ridiculous. Have some decency. You're not doing anything wrong, just exploiting a gay tactic that makes people rage. People who do that are probably the people who would run up to the other person and punch them in a game of team snipers when in cqc, instead of trying to no scope each other. If you can't get the snipe off while somebody is shooting at you, then you shouldn't be using that sniper. If you're sitting in one corner of the map crouched and aiming at a few different spots, and not moving around trying to get as many kills as you possibly can, you shouldn't be using that sniper. You want a cool way to stay alive while using it? Run around the map, practice shooting enemies from afar and up close, running when they drop your shields, and get in the fight. That's the only way you're going to get better. Not sitting in some corner with your camo at the ready, and a saw/shotgun/boltshot/other cqc weapon for when people come close.
  9. If customizable loadouts weren't in this game, problem solved. In older Halo's, it was fine to drive a vehicle around because people usually had to drop a magnum or ar for a plasma pistol. Now they just spawn with it, and it's pointless to drive vehicles around, more pointless than when there was armor lock. Anybody can shoot a banshee down when they spawn now, tanks are totally defenseless against emp's, wraiths as well. Now, if you had to drop a magnum or ar to pick up a boltshot, then I wouldn't have a problem with it either. I really liked the boltshot the way it was however, even if I did get killed by it plenty of times. You just need to use it gayer than they do. I don't play Halo 4 anymore, so it doesn't really bother me, but when I did it wasn't that big of a deal.
  10. Can't say I agree. I play almost all Swat, with a little bit of infection and other various gametypes here and there, and I HATED Pinnacle and Uncaged. Even more so than Powerhouse. Pinnacle gives you a full vantage point of the map almost from one area, and uncaged you can just sit in one spot and have a full uphill advantage, or camp from some of the most nooby corners in the game. Uncaged is okay for snipers, but not for swat imo.
  11. Gungnir helmet would just be using that little camera thing in there, it'd be cool if when they got EMP'd, the vision went out for a second haha. But then no one would use it. Unless all the helmets had some kind of flaw like that, but no.
  12. I remember hating Kat along with everyone else xD There was one Fails of the Weak (I think Rooster Teeth did those? I can't remember) Where the dude's like "And then Kat...just decided...to end...her life!" as she drove 6 right off the cliff in campaign in a Warthog haha. That made my day, and its what I think everytime I see or hear Kat's name :b
  13. I now only play Reach... We really did give 4 a shot, but I noticed how I was quitting out of almost every game, it just got so frustrating >.< I'm like level 98 or something on 4, so I really did give it a fair chance. Now friends and I play Reach daily, and it's a blast. Teabagging is actually fun now xD And I don't just die, spawn instantly, take a couple steps and die again, so less rage quitting. And besides, I'm afraid of getting banned again, so I don't wanna rage quit. I definitely did like some things in 4, but Reach is just more enjoyable to me. SWAT is my favorite gametype, and it just seems so ruined in 4, without x's, BR raping everything, one shot pummels, etc.. Idk, just not my thing. The only playlist I play on 4 anymore is CTF, which is fun and all, but the maps get repetitive, and like I said, I usually rage quit. Honestly, my favorite part though, IS the teabagging. There's nothing like when someone on the other team teabags you, then you kill them like 7 times in a row after that and teabag them each time. Then sometimes, kill half their team, and teabag each one individually. xD This sounds trollish I know, but it's what makes me laugh the most, and some of the more enjoyable/memorable parts of Reach. Yea, you can do it in 4, but half the time nobody's watching their dead body after they die, or they instant respawn. I guess a better way to put it is that Reach feels more interactive. You can make friends just by screwing around, or by doing good, you get noticed. I feel like in 4 you don't even notice your teammates half the time. Maybe it's because of the change in colors, sounds, idk. But it's just pretty boring a lot of the time.
  14. Pretty cool, that's' about the highest I can get. >.< Never gonna get an Unfrig. lol
  15. I really liked Reach's Forge maps. Some I'll admit, I hated ever-so badly, and the colors definitely get boring, but most of the time they were fun. Hemmorhage (Blood Gulch) was the only map I thought was completely one sided (red side was just far superior, same with red side on ragnarok in 4) that I can think of off the top of my head. Can't say I noticed the spawn thing, I get spawn killed more in 4 than any previous game really, but that's instant spawn I guess. Some of the maps were awesome, even though a majority were remakes at the beginning, I thought it added a lot of variety to the game. My friends and I don't really care for the few maps in 4... Adrift, Haven, Ragnarok, Exile, Harvest : basically the only maps out there. And with being able to quit out of any game there is now, no one sits around in the maps they don't like. Well, I certainly don't. If Solace wins, my teams at least down 1 player, sorry.
