  1. Just thought this was cool!
  2. I came up with this Idea that, if someone boards your vehicle, it will tell you to press a button at a very specific time. It will show up for less than a second, and if you are ready to press it, and you press it on-time, you will do something to the other player to keep them for stealing your vehicle, allowing you to keep your vehicle AND causing damage to the other player. It would also depend on which direction they boarded you from. Examples: Driver's Seat: Warthog - Dodge punch, punch back Scorpion (Button shows every time punched)- Open hatch, Pull them into cockpit, shoot head with gun Wraith (Button shows every time punched) - Same as Scorpion Spectre - Grabs Rifle, hits with gun, then shoots Passenger Seat: Warthog - Punch Spectre - Dodge grab, stands, kicks off Gunner's Seat: Warthog - Kicks off Spectre - Kicks off Scorpion - Dodge grab, shoots with chaingun Wraith - Dodge grab, shoots with plasma gun Front of Vehicle (Single seated vehicles): Banshee - Grab leg and throw them off Mongoose - Punch Chopper (If in Game) - Punch leg, tripping them, causing them to fall into grinder/wheel There could be more, but I was just giving an example. Tell me what you think!
  3. It's a futuristic Tommy Gun. They should call it Tom. hahahaha
  4. Do you mean in Halo 4? If so, No. They have not said anything about unlocking recon in Halo 4. In Halo 3, Just like ^ he said, it is already available to all players.
  5. It is not near Reach at all. Here are sources. "Reach was a human colony world in the Epsilon Eridani System, located within the Inner colonies." -http://halo.wikia.com/wiki/Reach This is the location of the Pleiades Star Cluster. It is the bunch of stars with a crosshair over it. Ignore the second image, they're connected. This is the location of Epsilon Eridani System, in which Planet Reach is in. Here is how far apart they are from eachother. The Pleiades star cluster is close to the Auriga constellation, hence the first picture. Epsilon Eridani is located in the Eridanus Constellation. Planet Reach/ The Epsilon Eridani system is about 10.4 light years from Earth. The Pleiades Star cluster is 391-456 Light Years from Earth. Reach and the Pleiades Star cluster probably have nothing to do with eachother. The game MIGHT DEFINATELY have something to do with the one or the other. It might have nothing to do with either. It just doesnt seem logical to have it revolved around both since they seem so far away from eachother,
  6. NOTE: The following is a theory based on facts gleaned from reliable sources. Master Chief and the Forward unto Dawn were not left behind as the portal collapsed. They might have been redirected (as many fans believe) to new coordinates set by Mendicant Bias, the Forerunner AI. These coordinates turned out to be close to the Forerunner planet of Requiem, as we all know. The possibility of portal redirection during it's activation can be seen in the second halo: CEA terminal as well as in Halo Legends, where the halo array, in formation above the ark, is sent through the portal all at once. This is proof that the portal can be redirected to at least 7 coordinated while it is activated, meaning that there is a possibility that the aft section of the forward unto dawn was sent to another location in the galaxy. This would disprove that Requiem is outside the galaxy and close to the ark installations. Also, being sent through the portal to a distance at least 25,000 light years (effective range of the installation 04 and it's replication on the ark, 04b), is the only way that the master chief could have survived it's firing. As to the planet's purpose, having recently reread the Forerunner saga books by Greg Bear, I believe that Requiem is the Forerunner Domain, or the source of all Forerunner knowledge. This would fit with why the Didact would be present there in his new cryptum (the glowing and flying sphere seen on the E3 stage demo), as the Domain was inaccessable to the Forerunners at the time of the activation of the Halo array. The Didact may have referred to his mission to reactivate and and preserve the Domain in his last recorded words "and we will take the Great Journey without you." Some possibilities are that the Domain cut off connection to the Forerunners during the Flood conflict to protect the secrets of it's location and prevent the flood from accessing it via infected Forerunner hosts (if the flood accessed the Domain, they would know EVERYTHING about the Forerunners). It is possible that the Didact made his mission to preserve the knowledge and legacy of his people after the firing of the Halo Array, and also brought all the remaining Forerunners (biologicals like the life workers and warrior-servants on the ark, and the mechanical Promethians AI's seen in the E3 stage demo) to achieve his goal. To add to this, the namesake for the planet, a "Requiem," is a mass to the dead. This may be some more evidence that the Didact and the remaining Forerunners retreated to Requiem after the firing of the Array to preserve their culture and to make sure that those lost in their war with the flood and the firing of the array wouldn't have died in vain. 7. Halo + Mountain Dew = New world order Halo and Mountain Dew will rule the world!
  8. I think its gonna be a remix to the halo theme just like they do for every halo game. I think this is just the teaser for the song as well.
  9. This is actually a storm Jackel. Its one of the new varieties in the Jackal species. It's not the actual Jackal we're used to. Frank O' Connor even said that there were gonna be different classes within species.
  10. I think that all the Halo's should have had it in the first place because now it seems like it would be weird to bring it back since it has been gone but I've been reading the fall of reach (yeah I know i'm late on my reading) and even Spartans will take some damage after about 30 meters. It says that a 30 meter drop wouldn't break any bones but it would cause organ damage. So, realistically, yes I think it should return, but I also think that it should have been in halo 2 and 3, as well.
  11. Well if you think back, Jorge was never actually "killed". He was just MIA. What if he ends up making and appearance in the Reclaimer trilogy. He is a spartan II after all.
  12. the new EOD helmet looks like a stormtrooper helmet! YES!!! lol
  13. With the ability to basically make it however you want, which is what 343 said, what are some ideas that you guys can think of for different gametypes. It could be anything. Use your imagination. I want to hear some creative ideas. Don't just limit it to things that were possible in past games. Go for it!
  14. You should change the poll to allow us to pick multiples because id be constantly switching between the carbine, BR, and DMR.
  15. I know I am going to get a lot of hate from this post but i have a theory... What if 343 industries and infinity ward are secretly working together behind the scenes and they are both trying to make each game more and more like eachothers so they can, one day in the near future, come together to create games together so that they have the ULTIMATE fanbase... If you don't understand, let me break it down... - What if 343 industries is slowly starting to make the halo games more and more like call of duty? - And What if Infinity Ward are slowly starting to make the call of duty games more and more like halo? - And what if they are doing this so that one day they can bring their two companies together so they have both the call of duty fanbase AND the Halo fanbase so they get the best ultimate fanbase population? Call of Duty: Halo Warfare anyone? What are your opinions?
