When you mentioned Floodfight I imagined a team of 4 Spartans standing on a hill firing their AR's at the horde of infection forms tha are beginning to overrun them. -
brilliant idea but we would need huge open maps to support the scarab and pelican/phantom/spirit. to balance it out they should invent a new UNSC super vehicle to counter balance the Scarab. I quite like the idea of using a pelican to deliver troops across the battlefield, it adds a new element of teamplay. I was disappointed when I heard that the Halo: Reach falcons couldn't hold passengers =/ I recommend a Battlefield-esque game mode which is like BF2142's titan mode. The Spartans must attack and destroy the scarab by landing on it and destroying the core. Or possible the same thing but with a Covenant corvet. the possibilities are endless.

After Combat Evolved they did a mission or two before Halo 2, he didn't go straight back to Earth. It's in the novels, Halo: First Strike i think. Even so he would not be able to get the upgraded armor, being stranded in space far away from civilization and all...

Wouldn't be the first time that His armor has changed without explanation (like how he could transfer cortana by touching stuff but in Halo 3 he needs the chip again)

Here's something that I've wanted since Halo 3. I want 2 more playable races. As in previous games there were Spartans and Elites, now I want 343i to add Brutes and Forerunners. Of course They'd play exactly the same as each other, it just offers more visual variety and you can play as the race which you like most. But since Halo 3 I've known this would be highly unlikely to occur in any Halo game, especially considering the Human-Covenant war is over and the Brutes are probably being wiped out by the Elites And the Forerunners have yet to make an appearance in the main series. A man can dream though... a man can dream...

What is so bad about armour lock? It offers temporary invincibility and an EMP upon deactivation. So what? wait 5 seconds and don't stand too close to the enemy. problem solved. Oh, and op I like your ideas.
