Increasing population limit

Ok picked up old favorite halo wars yesterday and got the snot beaten out of me 4 or so times by a guy that pulled 4 scarabs out of somewhere (yes they where from the same colour). Is it possible to increase your population or something by building more barracks or something else?

Some maps have it to where you can increase your units by 10 if you capture a specific location...but it would only be possible to have 3...I've never seen 4 and I play a few games almost everyday.

I have made 4 scarabs in deathmatch 1v1 on a 3v3 map.

I have seen 4 scarabs but only in deathmatcha nd like twice and both times it was when I was getting destroyed anyway

Don't listen to this guy. I played the mode that gives you a lot of materials against bots. I captured almost all of the bases. I ended up getting 6 scarabs at one time.

there was this one guy that demolished me after i had 3/4s of the bases with just 1 scarab, but he used the rest of his population on enginers to heal his scarab, he hit me with hit and run tactics focusing on my troop centers and enevitably beat me , goes to show there is always a way to come back, a lesson that guy taught me the hard way

If your Covie go with the vampires Or Brute Chieftain...he's the best leader for taking out Scarabs.

For UNSC beating the Engee Scarab combo is difficult if your not playing Anders...if you are playing as Anders you can just cryo them. Otherwise, you just have to hope you have enough small cheaper units to surround and overwhelm the scarab and take out the engineers 1 by 1.
