Attention 343 Industries:

Please develop halo 4 multiplayer so that it will no longer be nessasary to quit/credit ban people who have paid good money to play this game. It seems unethical to sell someone a product then ban them when they can't use it correctly. Not only unethical just down right mean. I know of no other major game maker that does this.

Multiplayer problems can be resolved without resorting to banning people.

Thank you.

i hate to see banning as well but that is a tough chioce for them to make. because halo has traditionally not allowed in-game server joining, the only remotely threatening way to keep a-hole quitters from screwing their teams is by threatening to temporarily ban them from their servers. whether 343 will allow in-game joining or stick with the ban system, i do not know, but i think they will decide between one of those 2 options.

I thought that they were allowing in game joining in halo 4. But i think banning is totally ethical because some people just don't get the message without banning. Also banning prevents other bad things like, aimbots, hacking, all of that bad stuff

I think he means when you get credit banned because you don't get enough kills in matchmaking games and the game thinks you're AFK so you get credit banned, even though you were playing.

Well if they do continue banning people (which I sincerely hope they don't) I hope FFA (free-for-all) matches will be exempt from the quit ban system bot or whatever it is that detects these things. Who cares if someone quits an FFA match?

In-game joining would eliminate quit banning.

Credit rewards based on score (no score - no credits) would eliminate credit banning (idle boosting).

BTW, and this is just me but I feel it's better for a team mate whom is getting repeatedly spawned killed (due to bad internet connection, lack of skill, etc.) to quit than cost my team the game.

Just no good reason for quit banning.

Yes, and if you use the camo armour ability (play a camo game) then you can very easily come away with only a few kills, if any.

I don't think banning should be disabled but it defenitly needs to be updated.

You know Substandard IQ, if xbox live were provided free of charge and all the matchmaking provided free of charge I would have no problem agreeing with you, but when I forked over $120 cold hard earned US dollars for a year of XBL and the video game it became a different story. I know the "code of conduct" and "terms of service" state that they can legally rob me but that doesn't make it right.

When I went into the store to buy Halo 3 everyone told me about how great it was but absolutely no one told me nor does it state anywhere on the packaging that the makers of this game can actually ban me from playing it even though I just paid $60 dollars for the right to do so. This isn't ethical no matter how you slice it.

I want to make it clear. I'm not talking about people who really cheat. Like those who use evil controlers and lag switches and such ... these people should be banned. I'm talking about people who just quit or park. This is not cheating and shouldn't warrent a ban.

If a person is involved in an online matchmaking game in which they are getting repeatedly spawn killed and have absolutely no possibillity of competing due to bad connection or poor player level matching then I feel they should be allowed to quit out of that. I know if I were involved in a game like that I would probably quit or park ... no sense in continuing. Are we really so sadistic that we want to force a person to continue playing in a game like that?

Everyone should be allowed to have fun ... that's what it's all about :-)
