What are you hoping to see in Infection in Halo 4? What are some of your ideas that you think that MUST be included.

 

Here are some of my ideas! :3

 

1. Zombie assassinations

 

What I would like to see are special assassinations for the infected. Like real gruesome assassinations! Let me suggest what kind of assassinations I have in mind.

 

Assassination idea 1: The zombie is behind a spartan. He uses his claws to rip open the back of the human and sends little parasites to enter the spartan. The spartan is infected.

 

Assassination idea 2: The zombie jumps on the back of the spartan and the spartan falls on the floor. The zombie bites the spartan in several places and vomits on the spartans head which burns. The spartan is infected.

 

Assassination idea 3: An option for infection which can be turned on/off. When on, the zombie can leave a trap on the map for the humans. However, he can only do this once during a respawn. So when the human steps on the trap, an infected tentacle pops out and grabs the spartan. The tentacle then breaks into the visor of the helmet and bites in the spartans face. The spartan is infected.

 

Now assassination ideas for the humans.

 

Assassination idea 1: The human grabs the zombie from the back and inserts a grenade inside of the infected. If you don't have a grenade you grab its heart and crush it.

 

Assassintation idea 2: The spartan jumps on the zombie and it falls. The spartan the punches the zombie so many times that the zombie will be pulverized.

 

Assassination idea 3: The spartan grabs the zombie from behind and tears it into 2 pieces and punch them together.

 

Of course these are a few ideas. Because there are also Elites. So their should be different assassinations for all races (Spartan, Elites, Infected) and they should be different for each weapon. >:)

 

There, those were some ideas for assassinations.

 

Now I want to talk about the...

 

Zombie appearance

 

You can have the zombies in 2 ways.

 

Zombie with broken armor and blood spatters around the armor and a crack in the helmet.

 

Or the same but then with Flood added parts on it. You can do them both for the Spartans and Elites.

 

I also would like to see some tiny light for the spartans which they can use for in the dark. You know, that one in CE.

 

Also add cracks in the helmets like in the final mission on Reach. So when a spartan has a fight with a zombie he can get cracks in his helmet.

 

That's all I got for that.

 

Now for the...

 

atmosphere

 

I want Infection to be scary! So I suggest the following for it.

 

1. Make it darker.

 

2. Be able to Forge dead bodies and add blood in Forge. Or better yet, A special Infecion Forge Mode!

 

3. Make it hard to kill zombies so that you want to stay with you team and not run to get some quick kills...

 

4. Add music of some kind, that really adds to the scaryness. Maybe a radio that has some scary tune on it.

 

5. Great light effects. Nothing is as creepy to see a scary shadow around the corner of a zombie nearing you.

 

6. Maybe let the sky have a dark red colour?

 

Hmm. I think that is what I got for the atmosphere...

 

Furthermore I want to see....

 

Zombie claws

 

Seriously, I had it with those swords. I mean they are fin and all...but why not let zombies use their claws?

 

 

Zombie respawning and Infected human respawn

 

When a human is infected I would like to see him get up again from the place where he died instead of respawning. Only when he is killed that much that he explodes in pieces, he will respawn at a different place.

Gametypes for infection

 

I want to share some of my gametype ideas I have for Infection. Because something new would be nice after the same thing over and over.

 

Idea 1. Stay out of the dark

 

When the round started there are several places with light. Humans must stay out of the dark or else the zombies will get them. The zombies however cannot survive in the light, it's like an instant kill barrier for them. But instead of them dropping dead when they are in the light, let them burn or something.

 

Now the humans probably think they are safe in these light spots forever. But they are not. Zombies can sabotages the cables leading towards the lights to put the lights down. If that happens the team of humans must stay together and help eachother as a team if they don't want to die and get to another safe light spot. Of course it is really hard to see for the spartans in the dark, that's why theu get those white lights on their helmet.

 

Maybe this idea needs some improvement, but you atleast know what I mean. :)

 

Idea 2. The Mother of Zombies

 

As the rounds starts there will be 3 zombies. 2 normal zombies and a special one and of course the humans. The special zombie one is kinda bigger than the rest. Its also stronger but a bit slow aswell (kinda like alpha zombie).

 

The humans can stop the infection this time. The only thing they need to do is find a way to kill the Mother of zombies. If they crush its heart all the zombies will automatically die. But killing the Mother zombie ain't going to be easy. The humans must stay aware of the other zombies as they are really fast. And the Mother zombie is just incredibly strong. Only a big good team could kill her.

 

Same counts for this idea. Maybe needs some improvement, but you know what I mean.

 

Idea 3. Survival

 

Just like the other Halo games this is survival. Stay a human as long as you can with your team. But now this gametype has extra stuff like I mentioned in this post. So this will be a lot better and scarier! :D

 

Last gametype idea! Annihilation

 

You start with a tiny group of spartans in a big and dark closed map (something like Blood Gulch). You start in a little beginning base. In the base you can find some good weapons and explosives. Outside there are 2 vehicles. A warthog Gunner and another warthog gunner. You must kill all the zombies in the game to win and not get infected.

 

The zombies started on different places around the big map. The zombies must of course infect the humans but must stay hidden so they won't be easily killed by the warthogs. The zombies only have 1 live so they need to be carefull!

 

I think this would be a fun gametype but maybe it needs some improvement. :)

 

 

Well those are some of my ideas. And the one for the Special Infection Forge Mode sounds like the perfect thing to me. :3

 

What are some of your ideas for Infection in Halo 4?

I agree with most of your ideas, but for halo it should be a bit more sensored like no tearing people in half. I think that its ok when thing like a hand might go through the stomach and out the other side, but when he pulls it out it looks like it didnt happen, and it would still turn out good. Or have a censor button maybe....

Well okay, maybe not too much gore...but not to less gore either. Infection is all about gore. :3
