Where can I find a version of this song?

At 8:21 in the video below, a version of "Arrival" from Halo 4 plays.  I really love the sound of this version and I was wondering if there was a full version of the track somewhere.

(Sorry, this is my first post. If there's a way to embed the video in my post, I'll edit it if possible.)

I believe I know where this piece came from. If any of you will recall, before Halo 4 released, 343 Industries hosted a music contest. You were allowed to download the full soundtrack of a few songs individually, and you used them to create the best "remix".These individual tracks would be just the drums from "To galaxy" or something for example.

I believe that there was a track in there for Arrival that just featured violins (or whatever instrument it is), of which is the track that plays in the video. However, I'm not sure how to access said tracks as this contest was held over 4 years ago, and I haven't seen anything on the official Halo site for it.

Any help would be appreciated!

Well, it is a variant of Arrival, and may be in the in the full OST somewhere, but I don't think it is (mainly because Arrival doesn't have that specific set of violins). Lucky for you, the Halo soundtracks as free to use (within limits), under the Microsoft content usage policy.

The version is likely a sample/remixed version spwcifically within the .map file for the mission. If you like, specify which level you hear it, and i will go through the sound tags and extract it for you.

Arrival only seems to appear in Midnight,  so any rendition of it would be there.

********UPDATE********

I was able to locate the sounds but at this time I cannot extract them.  Currently sound extraction is super buggy on the modified version of 4.2 Adjutant that I am using.  If and when I can figure out how to properly force Adj to the correct pointers to where the specific sound strings are listed in the metadata, I will let you know.  For now, the only way I can see you ripping the music you like, id to hook up your XB1/360 to a recording device and stand stationary in the section where the music plays, and try to toggle off unnecessary sounds so you have a good clean copy.
