Woe is me... These are the ones pictured at the top of the thread, in order:

Hunters from Dead Space 1 & 3, and the Ubermorph from Dead Space 2 (not pictured)

These guys are nerve-racking, and stressful to deal with. They're unkillable, but can be slowed down by dismembering them (which they will momentarily pause to regenerate). They CAN die, but unfortunately it requires hoop upon hoop upon hoop to jump through, with the exception of the first Hunter from Dead Space 1 which you kill outright with a ship's propulsion flames (although this only happens after you've faced the first Hunter on multiple occasions without being able to kill it). The Ubermorph can die too (via a wall mounted fan-blade I believe), but unfortunately his appearance is during a constant onslaught of Necromorphs, and even if he dies they will not relent and keep appearing.

Hunters & the Ubermorph are some of the toughest Necromorphs you face in Dead Space, and some of the most frightening due to their psychopathic approach-prey-slow-like movement.

Jackal Snipers from Halo 2

Do I need to explain? Snipers practically have omnipotence, and can see you the second you step out of cover. They'll insta-kill you on higher difficulties which makes a Legendary run very challenging (if you're not cutting corners, or using Skulls).

Creeper from Minecraft

Regardless of what you think of Minecraft, Creepers are one of THE most annoying creatures I've encountered in a game -- especially a game depending on the Player to build structures that the Creeper dismantles via explosion. It truly is frightening encountering one in the underground, at least in older versions without mods (or maybe those mods make them scarier...?).

Morphing Jar from various Yu-Gi-Oh! games, specifically Power Of Chaos - Joey The Passion

Technically, Morphing Jars in card form die when they head to the graveyard, and you can send them there before they're activated which can symbolize you killing it as if it were a real monster. In any case, Morphing Jars are just annoying to deal with despite how fun it is to actually use them yourself (hypocritical, I know).

A Morphing Jar's effect is, upon flipping out of downward defense position, both Players discard all their cards, and draw 5 more from their decks. Do you see how infuriating that can be if you cannot stop it?

Now in the newer game this isn't much of a problem, but in older generations it definitely was. The game I'm pointing out directly is from 2004 after all, pre-GX days methinks. Even before the crazy Fusions, and Synchro summons.

Anyway, thanks for replying guys! :)

Site Poll 36 will be up soon.
