Unease Peanut Posted June 29, 2016 Report Share Posted June 29, 2016 So we were playing around in Warzone FF when Coldfreeze got his hands in this: He couldn't do anything with it but said that he once managed to do a combat roll like the elites were able to do in Halo Reach. I knew the model existed in Halo 4 but it went unused, as for Halo 5 I'm not sure why it would be in the data unless they scrapped the idea and pitched it before it was complete. Question.. - Does it have animations? For sprinting, etc? It could just be a unused weapon model for all we know. Twinreaper Posted June 30, 2016 Report Share Posted June 30, 2016 If he had a HUD and the weapon appeared on his screen as it did in Reach when handling it in 1st person, then the weapon still has it's base tags and a present animation tag block in the biped dependencies. IF his screen was blank and it was unable to be used, then it is only the model that is present in the game and for some reason spawned. It is possible that something on the update side unblocked the weapon and it was able to be spawned in it's present unusable state. Neat find none the less. Coldfreeze wasn't able to do anything like that when he had it. He just said that his screen was blank aside from the default HUD elements and that the HUD told him he had 2 Assault Rifles while only having one and the Plasma Launcher.
