I think this would be a great idea. My brother used to play halo a lot. But now he likes CoD better. I think if we had a mega event, then other halo fans that have turned away from halo will come back to it and realize it's a great franchise. Therefore more people would buy halo 4. Let's hope this happens.

Honestly guys, I am one of the biggest Halo fans ever, but once Halo 4 goes online, having Halo 3 MPM up would just take away space for the Halo 4 MPM space. You can't keep it up forever.

This is a great idea. Having Halo 3 MP up will only serve as an outlet for gamers who like Halo 3 more, and they will always exist. New players will always come to the new game just like they are doing with Reach and if old gamers enjoy the previous titles more then they should get to play them. If Halo 5 turns out to be radically different from Reach would it be wise get rid of online Reach when Halo 5 comes out?
