Welcome, if you clicked the link you have made it through the first phase of your spartan career. The idea of this event is to get moving!

Still here? Worried I scared you off... this event is as much of a motivation to keep myself active and in shape as it is to get/keep you guys in shape, the idea is simple, before you play Halo 5, run a mile. A simple quick exercise for everyone. Now I don't expect you to do this launch day or anything but later on. We will all track our progress here by using your sign up post, you will keep a log, and I will keep a master log to show how many miles have been ran all together since the launch of Halo 5.

I want to keep this quick and simple so a mile is all I ask for participation but you are all welcome to run as much as you want, as time goes on and the event becomes successful (hopefully) we may add some different exercises. Think of this as your very own spartan training outsie of simulations (Halo 5).

I only play on weekends so on Friday Saturday and Sunday i'll run a mile before I sit down to play. This is all done on your schedule so if you want to take a week off fee free, the more you do the more it helps you and makes you feel good to :)

I don't know how this will work, thats if it works at all because I don't think it has ever been done.

The overall goal here is to get people to participate in this odd event, but it'd sure be nice if we can hit some cool milestones.

Milestones:

Ran 5 miles

Ran 10 miles

Ran 20 miles

Ran the length of  UNSC Infinity

Forum record of 117 miles

Forum record of 343 miles

Example Log:

Yoshi1176: 5 miles since launch.

Now get out there and get moving!

Since I started going to the gym quite a bit, I usually do a 5 mile run start and a 2.5 mile finish three times a week. I've already done it twice this week (Sunday and Monday) so I'm on 15 already

I like the idea but.......how can you ever be sure someone has ran at all?

I run 10km a day as well. (See what I mean?)

While there is a way I am sure, I won't go as far as asking for proof, if someone wants to be a dirtbag and cheat when they don't even need to participate so be it. I sleep well at night.
