"I think they **** up the game 1 buy taken split screen out of it and I thought it was going to be online with 4 player like halo 4 halo 3 and halo 2 halo 1 but no and I think they should take it easy on the new armor and guns but that me"

I'm having an extremely hard time understanding this monorail of a sentence.

Halo 5's Campaign HAS 4 player drop-in drop-out online co-op. You play Blue Team or Fireteam Osiris, and each team has 4 playable characters. You cannot do this offline however. 343 justifies this as not adding it in based on that feature compromising the quality of the game. I don't really care honestly, but I do see why someone would be upset.

Oh, and Halo: CE & 2 DO NOT have 4 player Co-Op. Only 4 player splitscreen for Multiplayer, and 2 player splitscreen for Campaign. I don't know where you got that from. It might have been that way on the OG Xbox. Possibly even the 360, but MCC for sure does not have that for CE & 2. Only for 3, and 4.

Also the last one is subjective, and the metric ton of new armor can be seen as a good thing or bad thing. The weapons are the same way. Some may see it as an incentive to keep playing, and others see a "quality =/= quantity" presence, and be disinterested. I'm holding my full judgement until I see all of what Halo 5 has to offer, and I think you should too. You're not forced to buy the game at launch.

I think the decision to remove the split screen is ridiculous, I know  they want to maintain the quality, but that should be decision of the gamer, play alone and have quality or play whit someone and lose a litte of this. In my opinion it is a bad idea

The more realistic case is, had they left split screen in, it would've detracted from both single player and co-op experiences as the quality of both would subsequently reduce.

Let's be real honest here. Quality reduction on splitscreen is and will happen regardless of framerate or desolution. Framerate drops due to rendering is hardly relevant and the only real quality issue comes from having to split a native 720 amongst one screen into two actual screens.

The hoenst truth is that the Xbox One hardly has any real 1080i or 60fpd titles. Almost all of them including Halo, are simply upscaled. That being said, there will be no real quality reduction from splitscreen as each player has a smaller screen to look at. I have seen more quality reduction as a result of the abismal netcoding within Halo.

So no, splitscreen DOES NOT impact quality one bit. Microsoft and 343 simply want to push and sell more hardware and Halo is how they plan to do a vast majority of it. You can all speak otherwise, but unless someone can post a true raw video with statistical framerate data from another similar game to show this supposed huge quality reduction.....your all just talking half witted commentary from popular belief and no actual fact.

It is understandable that co-op on the same console isn't available for Halo 5: Guardians due to the limitations of the Xbox One (Blame Microsoft, when the console came out I was little disappointed that the specs were lower than my crappy low-end PC laptop). BUT!, they could've added local LAN support because Xbox Live uses similar if not the same netcoding. Lets hope that Microsoft releases an app soon that any game that does have co-op/multiplayer support on Xbox Live, can be supportive offline on local LAN.

as well as when i had parties we always played halo and smash bros

no we cant.

i dont blame 343 industries i do blame microsoft because they just want to try to get money

anyways thats my opinion, i just disagree and dislike microsoft in general

id be fine though if they add an update or app of somesort that allows LAN locol co op split screen
