Halo 4 for Xbox 360 malfunctioning after extensive play time. looking for possible solutions

i'm having a bit of an issue getting my copy of Halo 4 for the 360 to work properly.

 

after extensive playtime on any gamemode (excluding the primary campaign) my game starts to malfunction.

the resulting symptoms that my game or xbox (i'm not sure which one specifically is causing the problem) include: environment SFX and music to stop playing, game mechanics not responding (like objectives not loading in Spartan Ops, Infinity and personal Ordinace not dropping, etc.) and even text on the menu screens to become turned into corrupted gibberish.

 

i'm posting this because i'm not sure if this problem is something anyone else has experienced or if this issue is something exclusive to my console and/or disc.

 

 

help would be appreciated, i can hopefully provide pictures if necessary.

Really hope the info we went over in the Shout Box helps you out. Keep me updated in this thread as to the progress and steps that didn't work to fix the issue. Good luck màte!
