I recently played through Halo 4 for the very first time and i loved it, i thought it was by far the best in the series. I played though on Legendary and really enjoyed it, of course there was a few areas that really frustrated me but that is to be expected when playing on Legendary haha. I loved the weapons and the new Promethean enemies were very cool. Halo 4 also had 1 of the most epic moments i have experienced in a game for a long time, it was in the final mission where you fly the Broadsword ship, i loved that part and the music was simply epic. After playing through all the Halo games it was Halo 4 i enjoyed the most, than Halo 2, Halo 3 & Halo 1. I am really looking forward to Halo 5 guardians after experiencing the Halo series.

Welp, glad to see someone is enjoying 343's handiwork. :)

Now then, lets hope Halo 5 Guardians will be good and bug free!

edit

I agree with Dan, Halo 4 had the best story and best characters and pushed the series ( story and character wise ) in the right direction!

The YSS-1000 Sabre was better than the F-41 Broadsword.

I think people like it better because the mission was more fun than Reach's. Which was just shooting down enemies.

That, and the Broadsword looks cooler.

The Sabre was dull looking and the mission was terrible. However, I liked it better.

Why 343 used the Broadsword instead, who knows.

Fun fact (From the art book), the in-house nickname for the F41 was the tortoise.

Anyway, it's the SWBFII player at heart, I guess. The trench run was a wasted opportunity that is the space equivalent o a corridor shooter, whereas LNoS was a lot more open-ended and skirmish-ey. Plus, I love the Reach art style; the military stuff looks military and utalitarian and just perfect.

I rag on the story of reach a lot, but damn was it a fun game.
