Popular Post Drizzy_Dan
Grim kept the ball rolling this week with more reveals for lore fans. In the latest Canon Fodder, Grim gave the description for the upcoming digital novel Saint's Testimony written by the man himself Frank O'Connor. It will feature Iona- the AI most known for her appearance alongside Black Team in the graphic novel Blood Line. Here's the description that I've pasted to not waste time with redirection: "The military-grade artificial intelligence known as Iona has only one week to live. After that, the UNSC will legally terminate her seven-year existence in order to stave off the threat of the data corruption phenomenon known as “rampancy,” a condition that will eventually take hold of her functionality and persona, endangering all those around her. In a last-ditch effort to save herself, Iona has successfully launched an unprecedented legal appeal against her own death sentence – a case being watched very closely at not only the highest levels of human government, but by others with a very different agenda…." An entry like this in the Halo universe could change a lot of things involving AI termination policies. We'll be seeing the first appeal by an AI against its termination. Anyone else excited to maybe find out where she ended up before Black Team was suddenly extinguished?

Buns
I pre-ordered it already. This book is gonna be excellent. I love how many niche topics the Halo novels have been tackling ever since 343i took over.
