BaconShelf Posted April 22, 2015 Report Share Posted April 22, 2015 They all use large ammunition; 102mm HEAT rockets, 14.5mm rounds and a Railgun projectile are all pretty heavy and ale up considerable space- IRL soldiers only carry up to 3 rockets alone. Space for ammo is an issue though. If we had any more rockets than the game allows, and it actually showed reserve ammo on your Spartan or Elite's body like it shows your secondary weapon, we'd have to have some sticking out of our rear ends just to store it all. Gameplay takes precedence. Spartans can do front flips, backflips, they can go prone, but you can't do that in game either. Also, these guns aren't designed purely for Spartans. That's just my two cents. ;p Snipers: Low Ammo but very powerful and practical. Rocket Launchers: Very powerful, low ammo, but also explosive (Which adds to the power) Railguns: Strong powerful precision, but slow recharge rate.
