The Microsoft Xbox Live Support chat staff said I should contact you regarding the fact that my 1 month Live disaapeared before I could apply it to my gamertag. They say you know of this issue and have a fix, which you can do for me on 02/28/15... so thanks so much if that is true! I also have a MS reference number if needed. Xbox Customer Support told you to go to 343 Industries Official Site, this is not however. If you are wanting to apply the code, you will need to head over to halo.xbox.com They will be able to help you over there, we are only stated as a fan site. You may stay and enjoy this community if you wish. That's up to you, you may leave if you do so. Regarding your message, I do not believe there was an actual Xbox Message sent out, I believe it was automatically applied to everyone who has played before the date 12/21/14. I may be wrong.
