Huge Betrayal problem?

Recommended Posts

Over the past 5 days, I have noticed more and more people betraying people for the fun of it or to take their weapon.

Yesterday was the worst example. I played 10 games total and in 5 I was betrayed multiple times by the same person in the game.

Here's an example: In one game I went to get rockets and once I got them my teammate betrayed me to pick them up. That same game I had shotgun and the same guy again betrayed me to take my shotgun.

Has anyone else noticed this? I was so pissed yesterday. I don't get the point of doing it.

It's a problem with very young kids in any game really that has spawnable weapons on the map, if they want it then they'll have it by any means so they'll betray you to get it. I hate kids who do that but there isn't anything I can do to them unfortunately and I would like 343 to put in a patch into where we can't betray teammates.

Cant 343 just add the boot button in or something? :)

Halo 4 and Halo 3 have the booting option as far as I remeber. Halo 2 and CE don't. They took the "exactly the same" quite literally.

I wish it were like if you are booted twice in a day you do not have access for 24 hours or some system like that.

Problem about quitting now is that it counts as a L. I mean, it doesn't matter THAT much to me, but it makes it a bit tougher.

That would explain it a lot. I always have my thumbstick up before the match beings to get to the weapons first.

They should add a booting button or at least make a patch where if you betray someone you are punished for like 2 hours or a certain amount of time and the more you betray the bigger the penalty. I have heard people say that someone kills them like 5 times and then they kill them once and they're booted from the game. I think it's some sort of bug or something, but either way they need to fix the betrayal system.

The betrayal system on halo 4 sucks balls. I hope it actually makes sense in halo 5, cuz otherwise I would have to log in here a x post the same thing again. Cuz apparently 343 doesn't give a crap. Way to take advantage of your fans like this.

In Halo 4 it's 3 strikes you're out.  That's pretty much the best betrayal system there is...

Saying that a company doesn't care about their fanbase just because you don't agree with a single mechanic is kinda shortsighted wouldn't you say?
