Because It will be awesome.

I want to see this collection on steam.

With steamworks, achivements, steamplay, cloudsaving.

With steamworks you can install games many/unlimited times and on many/unlimited pc's as you want.

If 343i don't decide to release this MCC on PC then they should turn around and just port Halo 3 to PC instead and I will be really happy.

I'm a true PC gamer and I love Halo and 343i.

Don't forget, I play Halo Custom Edition on PC making models, animation.

343i you got PC fans that love halo

So you guys vote and let's see where this lead too. Just like what Halofollower said "Never give up hope" and remember 343i said we have to keep asking for it.

The MCC on PC would be nice but it would have fairly high graphics requirements and thus would not sell as well. Halo 3 on the other hand would be great with the full Steam treatment as it would not require such a high end PC unlike Halo 2A and Halo CE A as well as Halo 4.

I feel like the time for Halo 3 on the PC has come amd gone a while ago. There are more interesting things on the PC I would rather spend my money on.

If they did make a Halo PC game I would like a grand RTS game, that would be awesome.

I voted no, and I'll explain why it doesn't mean I don't want it.

Microsoft need their sales for the Xbox One to rise, and the only way they can do that is by persuading people to buy their console through exclusives. Halo is their biggest exclusive series and MCC is their best chance of making old fans of the series who moved on, to purchase their new console. If it were moved to PC, the amount of people who pirate and/or who won't buy the Xbox One would be insane.
If somehow a miracle happened and no sales would be affected, the next issue would be if the servers were to be crossplatformed or not, if so, then PC would utterly ruin the console gamers and would turn everyone off from playing it on the Xbox One.

I would love to see Halo games for the PC, if it didn't damage Microsoft at all, but since it would damage their profits I'm voting no.

As Long it stays an Xbox - no Money!

Still have Halo 1+2 on PC Retail but it would be fine to release it on PC via Steam. Ryse, Dead Rising3, Titanfall also on PC. Still PC is not the Counterpart to the Xone. We have MS OS, Keyboards, Mouse (a Halo Version is coming on September) and Gamepads. Sony and Nintendo are the Counterparts. So yes. I would buy it instand. Why? Not the graphics but the Settings and Story are very good.

I don't think this will ever happen on steam or just pc in general, they moved on from porting the games to PC, it would hurt their chance of X1 sales a lot and they won't take that chance.

The reason I bought my 360 is Halo 3, other games were an extra benefit for me. The reason I bought my xbox one is still Halo, all the other games are extras.

" If it were moved to PC, the amount of people who pirate and/or who won't buy the Xbox One would be insane."

1. An online game is hard to pirate since there will be constant updates.

2. PC players produces money for the same business corporation Microsoft. Sales will benefit MS either way.

3. Not everybody wants to spend 400 on a new consoles when PC players already have a good PC to play their games.

1. Halo 3 is not online only and even online games get pirated (It is possible to play a lot of MP games with pirated games on private servers.)

2. Count production costs, server maintenance and than sales become important to MS, they dont just need to break even on this, the game needs to keep generating revenue or it will cost them money.

3. Not everyone wants to drop a few hundreds bucks on a good pc and have the knowledge to keep their pc running correctly.

IF they ever bring Halo 3 to pc, the chance is that it will feature no MP at all, due to it being not only and older game, but also since on pc the have to maintain servers.

The chances are also very slim that it would be coming to steam, since Valve shares some of the profit made, making it harder for MS to even break even.

And of course is the animo there, if it's only the "hardcore" crowd that want's Halo 3 on pc they would never release it for pc, if its the general public, the chances are somewhat higher.

1. Completely incorrect. Just ask Pirate Bay about Minecraft (PC version). Or ask Torrentz about Battlefield 4. Both of which are multiplayer heavy (BF4 obviously more so than Minecraft) and are in the top 10 most pirated games.

2. You're not wrong here, but MS doesn't care about additional PC sales. Halo has been about selling consoles since H:CE and continues to be about selling consoles to this day.

3. Again, this is a problem for the minority of individuals, and not a problem for MS. If you want the games bad enough, you'll buy the platform they are supported on.

Halo is Microsoft's game. What they do with it is their decision, and since the release of Halo 3 this topic has been done to death. There are easily over 10,000 posts on different Halo forums with people begging for Halo to come back to PC. It hasn't happened, and probably won't. If Microsoft changes it's mind that will be a welcome change, but they are not likely to.

This. This is why I voted no, couldn't have explained it better.

Let's not be fanboys here...

The Xbox One may be a leap from the 360, but it's still as powerful as a low/mid range PC. Which most people have. High quality graphics is not a road block simply because the majority of PC gamers already have mid or high end gear in their PCs.

And even if the graphics would be too intense for some, you will always have the option to customise your visuals however you want (limited ingame, unlimited with mods).

Here's an example of how much you can change your game in terms of graphics (BF4): http://i.imgur.com/MEEp4dg.jpg

A PC could handle Halo 3, but it doesn't have the capability to handle MCC, certainly not without a metric ton of graphics cards, and a reasonably sized hard drive.

Considering most PC's only have 4 GB of RAM compared to the Xbox One's 8, I sincerely doubt they'd bring the MCC to PC.

Halo 3 could definitely come to the PC, but MCC would just hurt the Xbox One sales. Also taking into account most of the PC gamers have low-mid end PC's, about 40 or so million of Steam Users, it's absolutely pointless, when the Xbox One is clearly better suited to handle it.

Well, Let the games move to Xbox one, so Microsoft would have better sales before releasing it to PC games. I couldn't agree more with these guys. Xbox360 soon will not have more games, because ever since Xbox one came out, and They're making more games for Xbox one. Remember how the old xbox had? The orignal Xbox had probably alot or few games, then moved to the new Xbox360, but Halo or Halo 2 didn't move to xbox360, but They did work with xbox360, After the xbox360, Another new style of Xbox360 came 2 years ago, and then Xbox one released few months ago, right? Now, Microsoft is making more and better games to Xbox one. I could agree more with the microsoft thing.

A pc can easily handle MCC, even with just a normal gpu, most pc's operate on 8 gigs of ram and don't forget that most gpu's als have ram for handling graphics. Not being an elitist here, but even with 4 gigs the mcc could be easily handled.

Since if a game took more than 8 gigs of ram, the pc would crash, mostly this happens due to memory leaks in an application.

Most pc gamers also have a mid to high end pc, low ends are more commonly reserved for work enviroments.
