Before i begin the game review then i do know that this game has been out for a while

Dragons long lost to the passages of the Elder Scrolls, have returned to Tamriel and the future of the Empire hangs in the balance. As Dragonborn, the prophesied hero born with the power of The Voice, you are the only one who can stand amongst them.

Skyrim is an Open World RPG where a civil war has erupted by the Imperials lead by General Tullius and the Stormcloaks lead by Ulfric Stormcloak the high king of skyrim after Ulfric shouted the high king of Skyrim to pieces, Alduin the world eater returns and is bringing back the dragons to wreak havoc upon Skyrim which is already going through a crisis of a civil war.

You start the game as a traveller who has been caught by an Imperial ambush who are currently trying to find the Storncloaks to execute them and then taken to Helgen where the game will begin, at the start of the game when you pick your character and name your character you are called up to the block where you will be killed by the Imperials when suddenly Alduin comes out of no where and starts to attack Helgen. Later on you have an option to either run with either the Stormcloak running away or the Imperial trying to survive.

during your time playing Skyrim you will have a chance to go out and kill dragons, turn into either a vampire or a werewolf, raid dungeons which have been overrun by dangerous creatures of either animals, undead, powerful mages and many more, become harbinger of the Companions, return the Thieves Guild to its former self, lead the Dark Brotherhood, learn words of power, kill things by shouting and obviously kill dragons.

You are the Dragonborn which means that you can permanently kill dragons by absorbing their soul after they die and you have can instantly learn a very powerful and ancient power of shouting known as the thu'um which is the dragon language. You are special because you have the soul of a dragon which makes you understand dragons and can use the powers that the dragons can use apart for flying. :(

There are other things to do instead of slaying dragons like doing the very fun Daedric quests which can give you items that are powerful such as a piece of armour in the game known as the Ebony Mail which when in combat poisons nearby enemies and when you are crouched, you can become silent and appear as black smoke which does the same thing as when you are in combat or you can get the mehrunes razor which has a chance to instantly kill enemies.

You can train your skills such as Smithing which is VERY useful at any stage if you have the resources and money since you can get daedric which is the strongest armour you can make at a very early level and you can train Alchemy which can be a useful way to make money however finding the ingredients can be a pain to find if you want to make potions such as a potion of invisibility which requires vampire dust.

There are also quite a few secrets in Skyrim such as the Dragon Priest masks which can actually be better than Daedric because of some of the high level enchantments you can find on them and if you can get all 8 Dragon Priest masks and the wooden mask, you can take them to a secret alter and find the secret 10th Dragon Priest mask which has a small chance to fully heal you and can summon a Dragon Priest to fight for you.

Now onto DLC :)

Dawnguard: The dawnguard DLC is very interesting as it allows you to upgrade your werewolf ability to become even more powerful or you can become a Master Vampire which can fly, shoot an upgraded version of the vamparic drain spell (only available if your a vampire), teleport in a swarm of bats and can either bring back the dead or summon gargoyles.

At the start (it starts when you reach level 10 and this counts for all DLC) you make your way over to Fort Dawnguard (after you receive a message from a courier) to meet the leader of the Dawnguards. You then find Serana, a vampire trapped within a tomb with an Elder Scroll. She then takes you back to a castle on the outskirts of Solitude where you will meet the leader of the vampires and he gives you two options, either walk away and stay with the Dawnguard or accept the offer of becoming a vampire lord and join up with the vampires.

In the DLC you learn a few new shouts and spells such as Summon Arvak, a conjuration spell which can summon a horse that you can ride and this horse is on fire and a new shout called soul tear which does 300 points of damage, captures a soul and (if it kills the enemy apart for dragons or Dragon Priests) can cause a necromancer effect and make the enemy rise from the grave to fight for you.

Hearthfire: In hearthfire you can build yourself a house using resources and these houses can get out of control with fanciness and usefulness because on these houses you can build wings onto the house(no these do not make your house fly unfortunately ;()and on these wings you can make an enchantment tower, armoury, cookery room, bedroom as well as a few more but you can also have a trophy room as well.

At times when your building your house or after you have built your house, it will be attacked by wolves, giants, bandits and if you have the Dawnguard DLC you can be attacked by either vampires or the Dawnguard.

In this DLC you can also adopt children and some of the things that you come home to are quite bizarre since one of your kids can get a pet mudcrab which is a small mudcrab that will follow him/her around and they will always ask you for money so make sure you have a lot of money since for this DLC you will need A LOT of money and i mean A LOT.

Dragonborn: in personal opinion this is the best DLC because of the sheer amount of content in it. In this DLC you go to the island Soulstein where the entire island is going under a major problem as another Dragonborn known as Miraak is trying to take control of the entire island in an attempt to bring him back to life.

In this DLC it includes A WHOLE LOT of stuff including new weapons like the Dwarven Black Bow Of Fate, new enchantments such as chaos damage which can do shock, fire, frost and magic damage, new armour such as bonemold and a few others that i can't spell, new shouts such as cyclone, dragon aspect and a new shout which can control your enemies and dragons!!

In this DLC they add in a thing called black books which takes you inside Mora's realm of hidden knowledge which can include a few passive effects and regular effects such as if you kill someone with the fire breath shout, you can summon fire wyrms to fight for you and you can summon a secret servant which can hold your stuff that you don't want to carry around.

In this DLC there are many different and interesting side quests which i recommend doing because some of the things in there just go crazy like hunting down people who faked their deaths, hunt down a secret stash of alcohol that the guards keep drinking which they shouldn't be drinking and a lot that are just crazy and very interesting to do.

I am finally going to wrap up this game review and my 500th post on this site by giving this game its score out of 10 and it deserves...

:D !!10/10!! :D

This is an amazing game and if you haven't played it or any of the DLC then i highly recommend it since Skyrim is awesome and the DLC adds to that so much i can't describe how much it does.
