Also I would like to see the Elephant and also the Mantis to. Also maybe I hope they add the Phantom as a playable Vehicle to. A pimped out Rocket Hog will be cool to see in Halo 5 lol. I would also love to see the Mantis return, it was fun walking around in them. I will put these in equivalent form too Green text means it is a new vehicle Orange means it is controllable but needs more than 3 people to operate. Blue Text means it has both things. Warthog --- Spectre --- Prowler Scorpion --- Wraith Mongoose --- Ghost --- Chopper Raven --- Banshee Elephant --- Shadow M2 Gauss Warthog --- Assault Cannon Spectre Mammoth --- Scarab m3 Pelican --- Phantom Mantis --- Gorgon Raven: A sleek fighter jet Shadow M2: A larger more fit shadow that holds 16 people in all. It functions more like an elephant Scarab M3: It is controllable like the Elephant. It now holds 1-3 Spectres and some Ghosts like how the Mammoth holds Mongooses or Warthogs Assault Cannon Spectre: A spectre that fires a fuel rod. IMO we already have way too many Warthog variants, and the Wolverine would balance a lot better as a counterpart to the AA Wraith. ** The Shredder would be a new potential Brute Tank. Honestly, the Prowler was just a poor reskin of the Spectre, and Brutes really should have a tank vehicle since it complements their savage nature. *** IMO the Hornet has a lot more potential for balance as a counterpart to the Banshee, but I know a lot of people would riot if the Falcon wasn't included either. I don't really know of any good counterpart for the Falcon though, other than the Phantom since both have door gunners on the side. But theres also a significant size difference there too... **** The V2 Scarab is the Scarab model seen in Halo 3, ODST, and Reach. It is slightly larger than the Elephant, but I could see both working well as counterparts. ***** The V1 Scarab was the Scarab model seen in Halo 2. Because it is much larger than the V2 Scarab, it would make a much better counterpart to the Mammoth. Out of all the vehicles listed though, I expect these two to be the least likely to be useable. It just needs a minor-major update. The Falcon and Hornet can be described to have two different purposes maybe. Like a Hornet is direct to combat while the Falcon is Spec-ops oriented? I came up with something for the Hornet/Falcon called the Will-o-Wisp but it is to hard to describe. I wish the scarabs can be drivable. I made up an idea for a UNSC vs Covenant mode where it takes advantage of the equivalents and make a map made for vast tactical battles. It might work there. Since this is a "What vehicles do you want thread" you can make and compromise with other people and make a new vehicle idea that could be in Halo 5. So do not just choose what is there. Kevin Dykstra Posted March 16, 2014 Report Share Posted March 16, 2014 The only addition I would really want for Halo 5 over halo 4 is a Cross between a hornet and a falcon, with only a one turret and two jumpseats, (though I have rarely seen anyone use them). I wouldn't mind the chopper back, but for the Halo Wars vehicles I say if you really want them put them in the campaign just like the pelican, but not in the matchmaking. I also don't like the balance between the revanent and the warthog, that is a really lame way to balance the flow, and I think 343 is capable of more creative balances, like the Banshee and the Mantis. I mean, nothing screams teamwork like you and your buddies jumping into a Falcon and flying 200 feet above the enemy's scorpion, nabbing the flag and somehow maneuvering back to safety with a point. Because I loved getting 16 friends and 16 energy swords/ gravity hammers, carrying the Elephants into the air and creating an arena for the Elephants to to go on. Something we haven't seen much of in the Universe. I'd like to see pilotable Phantoms, and pilotable Pelicans to come back. In Halo: Reach, the original concept for a level following 'New Alexandria' level was to control a Scarab through the remain of the city. I'd like a concept like that to return. Would be even cooler if it could actually protect the driver by blocking bullets from the front. As for the Hawk, I'm not sure about that. I mean, its got a friggen spartan laser mounted on it, which would be way too OP for multiplayer. I guess it could work for campaign like the Halo 4 pelican did though.
