Halo 4 Disk 1 Unreadable

Hi,

 

I have recently purchased an Xbox 360 which came with two games in the box one of which is Halo 4. When I tried to play the game I installed Disk 2 without any problems, unfortunately when I try to play it it says that Disk 1 is unreadable. I tried to replace it at the store where I bought it however they told me I should contact Microsoft instead because the game is not for a separate sell. 

 

I contacted Microsoft and they told me I should write a post here. Could you please tell me how can I get my game replaced and what information you need to do this. Thank you very much.

Is your game preowned? I'd suggest taking it back to the store and trading it in.

you cannot contact Microsoft whatever the guy told you at the store where purchased is rong he should replace the disk for you

the best thing to do here is...bear with me...restore your console to factory settings, then install disk 2 immediately before playing disk 1; this should work, or you could try not installing disk 2, your choice.
