Ghost Recon Posted October 21, 2013 Report Share Posted October 21, 2013 My favorite Halo 3 Campaign Mission is Halo because you get to drive around while The Arbiter is shooting at the Flood, and the Sentinels. Also you have to drive the Warthog and make a long jump with the Warthog while driving it, if you don't you will fall to your own death, also you have to drive fast while on the tiles. Sadly Just AL Posted October 21, 2013 Report Share Posted October 21, 2013 In my opinion, I love the Ark and the Covenant missions, both were awesome and involved quite a bit of vehicular action as well as the full experience without any as well which was quite good. The Ark was more infantry oriented (with some vehicle parts) and the Covenant was more vehicle oriented (with some infantry parts). And then Halo just gave me a blast of nastolgia when I saw Chief was assaulting the control room once more. It also has amazing music and you can drive an AA wraith for a very long time. I also love the Hornet air vs. air battle when you fight the banshees and the phantom. I also love the SECOND hornet air vs. vehicle battle, where there is two scarabs and A TON of prowlers. Unfortunately, the mission after that, Cortana, is my least favorite mission, because there is NO vehicles and NO covenant (well, not if you include the infected brutes and elites.) Maestro Posted January 20, 2014 Report Share Posted January 20, 2014 Like everyone else in this thread, the Ark and the Covenant. But unlike everyone else, I'm also going to add Tsavo Highway. On higher difficulties, when there are quite a few enemies with Fuel Rod Guns, keep handing them to your Marines. Then, when you have to hold out in the bunker at the top of the hill, each and every Marine with a Fuel Rod Gun will kill everything in sight. It has the challenging beginning of the level fighting the flood (which to this day the vidmaster brings me nightmares) . Then you can drive out on a mongoose, warthog, ghost, or even a brute chopper. Me and my friends made a game for Halo 3 that started on this level. The games rules are simple: Don't die by Infection Forms (Baby Flood as we call them). We've made it a taboo thing ever since our friend died by them 5 times in one night. I had never laughed so much in my life. Sometimes we'd also get out and fight each other in warthog wars and wait until the towers would fall and we would fly out the map, or we'd get out and walk along the edges of the level and find snow walls that weren't supposed to be there. Because that mission was the first time we see the real Cortana in a LONG LONG time! It was the reunion of Master Chief and Cortana... It was beautiful... I cried during that Cutscene.... Richard John Wilson Posted May 26, 2014 Report Share Posted May 26, 2014 The Ark. Snipers at the beginning. Warthog, Rocket Launcher passenger and Chain Gunner, perfect combination. Later on Gauss Warthog or Tank. This is a huge mission full of the things I like the most in Halo. Covenant. This is another huge mission, again full of the things I like. Vehicles, Snipers, but with a Spartan Laser in exchange for a Rocket Launcher (another passenger weapon) Halo Halo is not one of my favourite levels, but I got to admit I really enjoyed the Achievement with the Ghost. This made that level more enjoyable, if not frustrating because of the odd Lone Wolf.
