Is it just me or does the Halo 4 Infinity Armor Pack characters helmets look "Smooth"? like look at The ODST helmet, there's no detail, The Recruit helmet can pass off as ODST, the only thing that stood out to me on the ODST armor was the torso pack with the backpack... but seriously am I the only one who thinks this is weird kinda?

oh hmm that's seems logical thing to do haha! but for the MARK V armor it literally looks like the recycled it from Halo CE: ANNIVERSARY so I am thinking how come they couldn't use the ODST model from like halo 3:ODST or Halo: Reach Anniversary Firefght

I would say from the look of the models that they used the one frome halo ce anniversary becouse its still in halo 4s game engine like the mac cannon that can be used in the composer left over from reach. some things probably ware eather unable to be removed or ware to important to the game to be removed. halo 4 has a lot more items "vestigial limbs" grafted on that would seam to suggest it uses the reach game engine more then anyone wants to be true. eather way I just like that it is some kind of progress in adding more to the game.

Halo Reach had the best looking armor of all. Halo 3 was too shiny, smooth, and cartoony (at least the retail version of the game was, the beta on the other hand...)

Halo 4 is a cross between Halo Reach and Halo 3 but it is leaning more towards Halo 3's aesthetics.

There is something about the armors in this game, so many look unpractical and just weird. The necks, and new incarnations of old armor (minus Scout, EOD, and MK V) To me ODST looks totally screwed, not just smooth but almost totally unrecognizable. But 343 has made real progress with the DLC.

They look pretty much like they used to. Except the ODST's round, rather than pointed, visor.

However, they all look almost exactly like the originals (Minus scratches and paint erosion)

Prefect is based off Forerunner tech so it looks all nice and Forerunner-ey and Ricochet is based of fairly smooth 'armour' anyway.
