Do not fret, if you are not familiar with the races and classes yet, i will leave some descriptions below. The details that i provide are what we know so far. The final game may have more options than just these Below are the 3 playable races of Guardians (from left to right- Human, Awoken, Exo) Humans Humans are the first (and presumably most common) sapient species on Earth. Bungie has described the human species in Destiny as “relatable, tough, and uncomplicated." In terms of player design, Bungie drew its inspiration for humans from military, sports stars, and action movie heroes. Awoken Awoken are a player species described by Bungie as “exotic, beautiful, and mysterious." Nothing more has been confirmed about them at this time. In terms of player design, Bungie drew its inspiration for the Awoken from such mythological creatures as elves, vampires, ghosts, and angels. Exo Exo are a player species described by Bungie as “sinister, powerful, and tireless." Nothing more has been confirmed about them at this time. In terms of player design, Bungie drew its inspiration for the Exo from such sources as the Master Chief, The Terminator, and the undead. source: http://destinypedia.wikia.com/wiki/Species No matter what race a player chooses, they will be able to choose 1 of 3 known classes for their character. the classes are shown below (from left to right- hunter, warlock, titan) Hunter Hunters once prowled the wilderness and wastelands, taking big risks for even bigger rewards. If it's anything like Borderlands 2 gameplay in a Halo/Sci-Fi engine, I'm going to be playing non-stop. Usually in MMOs and Co-op games, I choose the Support and Healer classes. Occasionally I go for the lighter, quieter options. Never do I get to be the guns-blazing, super-heavy badass character. So here I am, calling dibs on heavy before any of my friends do, and I'ma use this post as evidence I'll be playing either a Human or Exo Titan. The Human's will probably get ignored, because they're so plain. I mean, the Awoken will be chosen by those who want to play Hunters or Warlocks, because that kind of supernatural looking being suits those classes. Most Titan players will pick the Exo, because they look really badass with big weapons and sweet heavy armour. I might too, 'cause they do look awesome. But a human Titan - that looks like it could be pretty fun. Might try get my friends to play humans and we may all start roleplaying on the game, which is always fun to do. We'd be like the schoolmates that stuck together for years and finally geared up to go and fight together. Now I've got a boner for Destiny. Damnit, Victory Element. (He's an amnesiac) He first woke up in the middle of the wilderness with no one around him, he traveled to many abandon towns and places to find out about about his past and somewhere to go, he eventually stumbled into a battlefield where a Titan and a Warlock where fighting groups of Fallen, he helped the Titan and Warlock because they promised him direction to the nearest civilization. When they finished fighting, they went on a journey toward the city. On the way there he proved his skill and worth then they all continued toward their new destiny, together. I like how you said that this is your story. And I do consider role-playing in this game to be quite fun. And the role I'm gonna play as is The Human Titan. Ever since Halo and Battlefield I always loved to go in guns blazing.
