SAMRII Posted June 5, 2013 Report Share Posted June 5, 2013 So I was wondering who else cannot 4 shot with a BR among other things in the update.. I have tried with a few of my friends in matchmaking and custom to be able to 4 shot with a BR. Still 5 shot even with my barrel right in the face of my opponent.. I constantly am getting killed with a 4 shot from the BR.. This IS NOT FAIR!.. It feels like the update missed me or something..Anyone else have this problem? RedStarRocket91 Posted June 5, 2013 Report Share Posted June 5, 2013 As far as I'm aware, in Custom Games you're using the original, unaltered weapons unless you've specifically downloaded the updated variant of each game mode. In matchmaking, it's possible that you're just dropping a bullet from each burst here and there. Try aiming for the chest for the first three bursts, and then targeting the head for the fourth to maximise your chances of landing every bullet. 3 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

kowloon Posted June 17, 2013 Report Share Posted June 17, 2013 If you started using the br more because of the update then your not use to it yet but if your like me and always using the br then you can see the problem and I made a new account and you get a delay in firing or they are eating your bullets. Bradley Hughes Posted June 18, 2013 Report Share Posted June 18, 2013 Does anyone else agree that the bleed from the new updated BR is annoying? I don't really mind if its a four shot kill, I just want to know when I'm a one-shot away from death. The bleed from the BR means that you don't get that 'no shields' alert that normally lets me know its time to take cover. And what does the DMR do now? The BR and the Carbine beat it in mid-range combat, and the light rifle beats it in long-range combat. Its been made useless. Every weapon should have its own niche (a specific job to do). Just Make the BR take down the shields in three bursts so the shield bar flashes red and gives you warning (like every other precision weapon), and give some serious thought into what the DMR is going to be useful for now. If 343 did this, it takes care of the last notable balancing issue in slayer/objective matchmaking (I'm not even going to start on flood). Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
