Recommended Posts

A few hidden games has appeared on the xbox dashboard, this brief article from polygon with go through them and try to see what these could be.

Quoted from polygon article.

Title speaks for itself, of course you have the big image Quantum Break, and Forza 5. I wouldn't look too far into Halo, it's just a logo and we'll inevitably get one.... But the other images

1. Bottom left green Crackdown agility orb, I don't know why they would use that unless we're getting a sequel (a real one this time).
2. Bottom right has the Rare logo, if its an HD realization of a old franchise I wouldn't know what it is.
3. Middle right is almost certainly Ryse (roman buildings)
4. Top right, most intriguing to me, kind of gives me Fable vibe (Seer eyes)
I wouldn't look too far into the image between Forza and Halo, kind of looks like the Demo stuff 18 seconds in there. (I guess it could still be from a game?)
*-Update:* As Tom Warren points out the one betwean Forza and Halo is likely the the family kids game set on an island he reported on. http://www.theverge.com/2013/4/11/4212054/next-xbox-launch-titles-ryse-forza

I wish the picture was a little bigger.

But I do also wish for a new fable. Fable 3 was a major let down. So a new one thats better done would be a much better welcome. :)

Yeah and I didn't even buy Fable: The Journey. It's about time we got a proper fable sequel.

Exactly. But what I think is funny, is if you got to Gamestop.com or any other website/store that sells games, read the reviews on it it. Everyone hates it. Yet if you try to Google it up, and look for reviews, other sites love to say that it was a great game and blah, blah, blah.

It seems to me that the only time a game is considered good is if IGN or some other gaming critic says its good. And if its a bad game, yet other people like it, then its still considered a bad game if the critic says so.

Sometimes it irks me when our opinions on games dont seem to matter as long as the "professional critic" has their say on the matter. :X

It also seems that only milked FPS franchises get good reviews these days.

Yeah. I try to understand the reasoning behind the good reviews of bad games.

I dont know if the companies pays off the critics or if the critics are just impulsive liars or something.

But one thing is for sure, I can never seem to wrap my head around their logic...

Probably do pay the critics. It wouldn't surprise me.

Yeah, thats my biggest guess. :(

Now only if Lionhead can get new people soon so they can start working on a new fable. Last I checked, Microsoft pulled a good portion of Lionhead's staff to work on "other" projects. (guessing Halo 5)

And then when I looked again a little more recently, Lionhead's was hiring for new developers and staff members.

Only reason I am guessing that Microsoft pulled people from Lionhead's to work for 343 is because Microsoft cares more for Halo than it does Fable. Not to mention, Lionhead's is also licensed through Microsoft. Meaning they are under Microsoft's thumb.
