kkkbg Posted September 4, 2011 Report Share Posted September 4, 2011 I know, i know you think it's rude off me to ask you, but for the ppl who dont get xbox live like me,(im not an adult by the way)i love halo and i get bored of these games because everything on xbox live, and i dont have it, so unfornately i get unjoy the full thrill of halo multiplayer. PLz had computer controlled or ai bots in multiplayer to battle i dont mean marines and odsts, i mean ai controlled spartains and you can adjust there skill ( easy,normal,heroric, and legendary) it would be greatly make us fans that are offline get to enjoy somewhat of multiplayer plz add ai bots plz i know its very rude of me to ask but plz!!!!!! even if its up to 4 ai bots i dont care im offline and get bored alot and the only thing i do on halo is just firefight and then campaign and then i get bored easily wishing i had xbox live. I think it would make it like CoD Black Ops, but if you could customize the bots weapons, and anything else that could be in Halo 4. I think the offline players would approve. Why dont you get xbox live in the first place XD. I think he means to use in Custom Games. OT: When I was a kid, just about every game with multiplayer mode had some form of AI bots in it: think of TimeSplitters, Quake III, or Star Wars Battlefront. With the later instalments of TimeSplitters, there was also a 'Mapmaker' function analogous to Forge, and it was entirely possible to set up matches with bots on custom content maps, so it's not as though you'd only be able to play against bots on 'official' maps. BOps and Gears have also shown us that it's entirely possible to have proper multiplayer-style games with bots on current-gen games, rather than just Firefight/Horde style combat, and the 'Ghosts' seen on Halo 3 (for example, the Ghost of Blackout) are clearly indicative that coding for multiplayer bots may well exist in Halo's coding already, albeit in a damaged/unfinished state. In short, I don't think we're likely to be seeing bots in Reach or prior games any time soon, as the way the game is built probably wouldn't allow for it to be installed. As far as trying to kill you goes as soon as one of those bots ends up with grenades or a rocket launcher they will do a good enough job of that. X H3LL JUMPER X Posted September 25, 2011 Report Share Posted September 25, 2011 I was a huge fan of red-faction 1 which had up to I think 8 bots mode, it was probably some of the most fun i've had on a console with me and my friends trying to beat even one bot on the hardest difficulty was a challenge, that kind of thing is what can define a game.
