Elites in Halo 4 - True or False?

Let's go straight to the point: Elites in Halo 4 - True or False?

Well this is a general discussion (not quite too sure is spelled this correctly) topic about the mighty Sangheili species. For what my researches had led me to, there is a quite big chance of 343 adding our favorite species, the Sangheili. Going back to that picture in which a guy in a forum said that Thel 'Vadamee (the Arbiter) will have appeareances in Spartan Ops and Elite Ops are in the game.

All of you who bought Halo 4 noticed that there wasn't such a thing as Elite Ops in the "raw" game, but it may be added to the game through DLC. Think with me: the 2nd season of Spartan Ops, a DLC that includes not only Elite Ops, but some gametypes that includes playable Sangheili.

Now for the GD (General Discussion):

Many, and I mean MANY people have been saying that they either do not care about Sangheili or that they do not like them. They say lots of stuff, but almost every single of them end up in "get over it". People say it's insane to research the Sangheili culture, and following it is madness. They say those "old space dinosaurs are wothless, just a secondary skin for your character, unnecessary". They say we are wierd because we role-play as our favorite species, and say worshipping them is insanity. Did I ever tell you the definition of insanity? Insanity is doing the same thing over and over again, expecting something to change. And that is what you, the ones who are against the Sangheili, are doing. You say the same thing over and over again, "get over it", "face it", expecting to change our mind about our beliefs and whatever else we do. That, my brothers, is insanity. You say we are close minded, that we do not accept others' opinions. All I have to say about this is that we DO accept others' opinions, but just because we accept your opinion, it does not mean we HAVE to follow it! You, ALL of you who are against the Sangheili might, shall perish when we are heard! We will NOT accept such cricticism against ourselves! RISE, my brothers! Rise, so we may defeat those who oppose us!

Alright, that is it for now. Thanks for taking your time to read this and responding, and have a good day.

I really hope they make a Halo side game where you can play as an elite in the conquest of (X) planet against humans, that would be awesome.

Quite awesome indeed, brother.

You just couldn't have posted this is your other thread about elites?

I think I could, but whatever, this one is already created.

the reason for now elites was this why would there by elites in war games

i hope they scrap this becase then we have elites back or keep it and just put elites in

Sorry I didn't understand half of what you said.

Who could possibly hate the Sangheili? They're intelligent, noble and extremely honorable. Plus they saved the human species at least twice, first when the Arbiter and the surviving Councillors stopped Tartarus from activating Installation 05, and then by destroying the Flood-infested cruiser that crashed in Voi.

I agree, bring back playable Elites and, if possible, make them friendly NPCs again as well. It would be nice to have a few friendly Unggoy in the mix as well.

Honestly guys this is probably just wishful thinking. It wouldn't, at least to me, make a whole lot of sense to take elites out of the game and anger a large part of the fanbase only to add them on later. Either elites will be in the main release or they won't be in at all. Since they weren't in the main release I doubt they will be added.

I seem to remember seeing something about a large update being added in April that was being speculated to be a possible Elite addition. Once again that has the makings of extremely wishful thinking... but there is some hope for you elite fans.

honestly i dont mind the elites, but seeing them in war games isnt likely to happen. This is the first time that the halo multiplayer has a background story to the multiplayer to give it some meaning. War games are supposed to be training simulators for spartan IVs aboard the infinty. It wouldnt make sense to toss in elites as playable characters in war games

playing as elites in spartan ops would not make much sense either considering you fight against elites 50% of the time. I understand that the storm and other elites have extremely different values, but its like trying to make master chief fight against other spartans in campaign....it just wont feel right

343 has their story laid out already, but that doesnt mean that there is no hope. Who knows.....they may find a loohole in all of this

I see we still have someone who believes on us. I agree with everything you've said, brother. But believe me: there are people who dislike our race.

yes its true that elites are in halo 4

Of course we are in this game. If you read the whole thing, you will see that we want Sangheili not only in Campaign, but also in Multiplayer. At least the possibility of playing as them in Custom Games and Forge, where most Machinima are made.

Hmm you have a point, human. But the thing is: if 343i wishes to have all those players back into the game, the first thing they must do is include playable Sangheili. Also, I have not heard about this large update in April, so I'll search for that. Thank you for the information, human.

Well, let's answer your post in parts, shall we?

1- We do not need to be playable as in Halo 3 (although it would be highly appreciated if 343 did it). An invasion gametype, for an example, would fit. And the Elites would not be spartans with Elite bodies, but A.I Sangheili, controlled by the players. Even though the Multiplayer has a "background story" it does not mean 343 had to remove our species from the WHOLE Multiplayer mode.

2- The answer is simple: or the Sangheili that were allied with humanity joins them to aid them or the Sangheili will have their own "Spartan Ops", called Elite Ops.

3-Even though they have already a settled story, it does not mean they can't add anything else to it, as you said.

Think about it. They haven't explained what happened over all, I don't think. Maybe they bring in Sangheili to participate in Spartan War Games as practice against terrorist or rogue Sangheili. Maybe its a show of good faith, allowing the elite of the fighting forces to participate.

It would makes sense to put elites in war games invasion because they needs some practice against actual covenant and not other Spartans. Wenches who defy the inevitable are eternally hopeless.
