Halo 4, Temporary ban from EXP.

Hello, I was temporarily banned from EXP on HALO 4.

I was wondering, does anyone know exactly how long, and if this is in the wrong place, sorry, this place is confusing.

And before you ask, no its not the MAX XP limit, I've already seen that, and this message is different, and it's almost been 24 hours since I've gotten this EXP ban.

Ye I was banned yesterday for the xp thing after I had allready reached the XP limit. So I wonder what kind of BS 343 is doing right now since I reached the XP limit after lvling from 42-44. But yeah I have no Idea how long the ban is and since they don't say how long it is put just say it's temporary it can be everything from a second to a few years... Who knows.

As for the xp cap, I've noticed changing your time zone by 12 hours seems to work at least once. I live in Helsinki, so I changed my xbox timezone to +14 Kiribati (or something) and poof! XP cap is gone.

@Ventus go into Spartan Ops and that cap is filled within a few hours so they should raise the cap

I was playing flood aswell as doing a couple other things and i have been banned for who knows how long and this is proof they can make a mistake easily aswell as my monthly challenge is completed but i have no exp so once yet a again 343 has screwed up this is total bull and i think people need to be reconciled for the issues that have happened to them because its not our fault there automated system of banning is doing it to people who don't diserve it Thanks a lot im almost regretting buying this game btw 343 i would love to relieve an email for telling me what I've done wrong but i highly doubt you will.

im only a level 31 and i got banned yesterday. I had only been playing for 3 hours even though that seems like a lot of time haha which it is. But i started to let my 4 year old brother play and he wasnt doing anything and was repeatedly getting killed. I got banned like an hour later. I looked into it and it said that being "idle" which is doing nothing, can get you a temporary ban. WTF?!?! Now i cant play for god knows how long and id like to know how long its going to take. Its been about a day now and im getting impatient.

I got this happen to me too, but does this mean that this is an actual ban and not a xp cap? I am worried now because my friends were afk on my xbox because they went to but sodas and I got the message. Is this for longer than a day? Mood:

343 is a pain and thinking about going back to cod first the daily xp limit was stupid but i was handling that then they took out team snipers which made me rage now a xp ban? wtf 343 get your **** strait

the xp cap happens 4 24 hours and then u can earn xp again the xbox changing time zone thing dosent work anymore but mehenwhile u can play halo 4s cmapain

I went from level 30 to 34 yesterday and i got banned fom exp. I dont get it. Am i not allowed to be good at the game??? 343 NEEDS to get rid of this annoying ban. What's the point of multiplayer if you cant even level up?? REALLY 343???? >

The truth is they have put an xp cap and ban in place for health and safety reasons... Sitting in front of a computer is bad for your health so they want you to go for a walk and maybe even socialise a bit from time to time.

 

I have to say its not a bad move as it is in fact to stop boosting. The ban lasts for less than 24hrs as far as i am aware as the cap is for any 24hr period. Just keep it a bit below the cap from now on and you should be fine.

yea ive ALWAYS hated the bans,

ban for quitting too many games (which HAS to be lowered im not waiting an hour )

ban for xp for no reason ban for betrayal

oh and i am ALSO a sr44 so maybe thats why...
