First of all i am going to start with armor abilities how to effectively counter and use them properly to your advantage then having a death on you're service record.

I am going to start with Armor lock. Many people think just slamming that button down on your controller will save you life, and you just use it to annoy others or you see someone in it and like oh my god and do something that results in your demise. Starting off is how to effectively use armor lock. Armor is not Strictly for for Anti-vehicle or just being a noob, it's primary goal is to distract and provide a gap for you're team-mates. It's very useful to get rid of people with power weapons such as swords/shotguns/concussion rifles. To do this you must use these at your disposal if you can find them on the map or have them in your possession DMR + plasma pistol + armor lock is a good combo against power weapons to put them into you're team-mates hands. I learned this from experience and have watched people do these things. Just don't go straight up to where they are defending a area with a power weapon play smart and stick with you're team-mates and you can use those items to your advantage and dominate your enemies with practice.

Okay, next is how to effectively use counter armor lock so it don't become a nuisance to you and you're team. Like my above statement if you see a person with armor lock do not try and get into a 1v1 engagement unless you have him out of armor lock charge and you are far distance away from him so the EMP blast wont pop your shields. When someone is in armor lock don't get near them if you have a power weapon if you can stay distance from them. Stick with you're team-mates as much as possible and when his armor lock is about to pop you will notice the increase voltage you start going towards him and use your power weapon, don't get to close so the EMP blast will effect your shields and he can melee you or kill you easily. Now, if you do not have a power weapon, best way i found out how to counter is to stay back, pay attention to you're radar wait for his shields to pop (don't get close so the EMP will get you) and lob a grenade at him before the shield pops and damage his shields and there you go easier kill. Now if this person is aggressive with armor lock, just try to avoid them as much as possible and be a opportunist and use teamwork to make sure he hardly has a chance for a kill. Not much else i can say about armor lock. It is one complicated Armor ability.

Next on our list of Armor abilities is Sprint. My personal second favorite to Evade. Now sprint is simple easy to use ability the most used. Sprint is useful for running to areas quick as in obtaining power weapons or covering ground to avoid enemy fire, and not stay in the open to long. It's very useful with melee weapons like the Energy Sword/Gravity Hammer to close the gap on enemies. It's useful for close quarters combat as well because of the hated double melee. Some might call it noobish but it's a very great tactic if you are caught off guard or they put shots into you first and you're close to them enough to do it.

Okay, it is very simple to counter sprint. First of all if they are trying to double melee you you can always go into armor lock if you have it, or back up glancing at you're radar or try to run away and take the advantage of their lack of energy to sprint again. Not many people while sprint while in combat only to go recharge their shields and hide somewhere for the recharge or cover ground or close the gap if they have power weapons. Like for Armor lock try and stick with you're teammates as much as possible it is essential for longer life and more kills and less deaths per hour and will raise your KDR and WL Ratios.

Now i will review the Active Camouflage ability. Active Camouflage is great for people who don't use Sprint or Evade. It's useful for you're team by messing up the opponents radar and rendering you invisible mostly allowing you to catch the enemy vulnerable, wait for the right moves though don't get rowdy and ready to strike. This ability requires a more..defensive type camping game-play with is frowned upon in the community but yes, its the best way to use the ability. It's also a great distraction to peoples radar like i said before helps your team a lot. Very good choice for team players. :good:

To counter Active Camouflage, very simple. You must use it back or predict where the enemy with the ability is going to be and have situational awareness, and don't fall into traps set by the enemy. Always look for a slight blur on your screen that looks like someone is in the ability and quickly and intelligently dispatch them. All is to it and plus teamwork, yes it is very essential as well.

What's next on our list? My all time favorite...Evade! Evade is weird to use at first, but you will get used to it in no time. This is different by Sprint by in terms of how you move. Evade, you can roll sideways backwards forwards diagonally, which makes good use of avoiding rockets, tank shots, banshees and vehicles and snipers and getting behind enemies much quicker than sprint. Evade has its down sides to uncontrollable because you can not stop evading once you clicked the ability button like you can with Sprint, and you can easily roll off areas and fall to you're unfortunate death. Only reason i use it is quick maneuverability to avoid things and be more effective than rather using sprint.

To effectively counter Evade, you must either use evade or sprint to cover and take it to you're advantage. If someone is evading towards you it's gonna be pretty hard to hit that moving target at the speed they are going. It's just best to move out the way with evade or just wait. If you have Evade try to out maneuver them and catch them before they hit you. Evade is a very good choice for a very offensive maneuverable ability, highly recommend it.

What's next, hmm..It's Drop Shield! Drop shield is meant for strictly objective games only, they why you find it only mostly objective games and Big Team Battle. Drop shield is a very defensive ability, you can also use it in the heat of battle to ward of enemies for a brief period and heal you and your team-mates. It can be used in Invasion as a tool to bring back the core back and stop the barrage of gun fire from killing you for a moment of time so you can re-spawn it back. Not much else Drop shield can really do besides these things.

To counter the Drop shield is simple, use evade and go inside and try to stick one of the players inside or just wait it out. You can also shoot it or blow it down which i highly do not recommend you do. Drop shield is the easiest ability to counter in my opinion but is a great asset for objective games and strong defensive rolls to hold back the enemy for a short period of time. Even one second can make the difference!

Next on my category of Armor abilities is the Jet Pack. The Jet Pack is useful for cutting corners in maps and flanking enemies in higher positions most of the time so you don't go threw kill zone areas. It's very handy when it comes to helping your team out by, cutting those corners and flanking the enemy killing a few of them allowing you're team to come threw and help clear it out. Jet Pack is a great armor ability because for me in my opinion it its very annoying especially on maps like countdown. It's probably one of the best Armor abilities aside Evade and Sprint.

How to counter Jet Pack is to try to put shots on him before he does you and don' get close unless you have a high sensitivity because that's where Jet-packers win. They can fly over you're head and you wont have enough sensitivity to look up fast enough and they can easily get you. Listen for the sound of the Jet Pack that's its flaw in the ability besides being in the open and being sniped with a DMR or pistol. Jet Packs' are a solid choice for a flanking type person and who can move around in small maps and big ones.

The last Armor ability, Holographic Decoy. Holographic decoy has to be the most useless Armor ability. I'm sorry if i offend anyone with that statement i made just then. It's only real use is to crouch and use it down a Narrow hallway or a door, Most useful in objective games.

Only way to counter this is to pay attention, look at the decoy long enough you're dead. Always see if they have a red name or you're reticule turns red. Always know the person who set the Holographic Decoy is nearby. Keep you're guard up. The Holographic Decoy is only meant to distract you, like i said pay attention.

Now, i will start on basic weapon function and I'm pretty sure most people know this. Pace you're shots at a distance burst fire, single shot you're target till they come closer and always take the advantage of you're opponent before engaging, be prepared! You will notice a increase in you're kills to death. When you use a sniper try to do paced shots, don't go for quick kills, practice before you start doing that so you got you're aim down packed.

Teamwork. Teamwork is everything, a good team will help you secure things first, get kills faster and win more games. Participate in you're team and you will see a difference and how well and happy you are playing the game. Get a group of friends, or share power weapons and watch each others back and don't get mad and betray each other, or do it for fun either. Tell you're team were the enemy is what they have, as in power weapons and vehicles. Communication is very vital.

Vehicles, Be careful of people using armor lock as they can destroy your vehicle or disable it with the EMP. Always make sure before you splatter or get close, they don't have armor lock. Play smart and help you're team as much as possible especially with the warthog in CTF. The weapons on the vehicles are so easy anyone can use it. Just some of them can overheat and have a recharge period like the banshee. With the banshee have Awareness, very key and keep flipping and boosting and kill them in their spawn.

Most important is learn the maps. Get a feel for it, learn where the power weapons and players spawn so you can have a better idea of where someone is gonna be before you make your next move. Learning the maps is probably the single most important thing, ever in FPS games.

Cover and flanking and playing smart. If you have cover available use it! Cover is crucial because it protects you from bullet and other weaponry fire. Strafing can help this even more. Flanking helps if you know the map and you know where the enemy is by communicating with you're team or by seeing radar using you're armor abilities to be a smarter and better player than the opposing team. Playing smart is not being confident in yourself so much you fall into you're demise and re-spawn over and over. Try and work things out before you try and be a run and gun, learn the maps and how people move. If you know where someone is, especially in objective type games such as invasion, lob a grenade up there and hope to kill a few or at least one person I've got a Killtrocity before by doing that, triple, double kills. It's really good to know how and when to time things to you're advantage.

Sensitivity plays a big part in how you play a game as well. If you play a certain game-type that requires you to be quicker and more agile, pick higher if you need to be more paced use a lower one. It all just comes down to preference.

If you want to improve your experience and have more fun try following these tips, and play the playlist you love. Don't let people say you suck or this or that just mute and submit a player review. No need to take nonsense from morons. :drinks:
